Drawing
Course Overview: Different supports used in drawing; overview of ways drawing has been utilized, past and present; great artist who used or use drawing as their chief instrument of cummunication; ways to achieve textural effects, as well as depth and form, in individual work; and media to include pencil, ink, pastel, markers, and others.
Projects students will be introduced to:
Portfolio creation - Students will create a portfolio for semester artwork.
Sketchbook - Students will draw sketchbook exercises to progress visual understanding.
These small drawing exercises will progress shsading skills and drawing details also.
